AMITE---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court August 26, 2019, before Judge Kimble and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Ehryn Anderson, age 19, of Loranger, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of simple burglary. She was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was deferred and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Robbert Bakker, age 29, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to resisting an officer, possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances, and possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time.

Leroy Johnson, age 68, of Tickfaw, LA, pleaded no contest to possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances. Sentencing is scheduled for September 10, 2019.

Broderick Jones, age 42, of Independence, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances- heroin. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was deferred and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Markis Tilloston, age 19, of Gonzales, LA, pleaded no contest to theft $5,000.00-$25,000.00, simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, possession of stolen property, and monetary instrument abuse. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was deferred and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

In other news from Amite criminal court, District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court August 21, 2019, before Judge Kimble and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Danny Atkins, age 31, of Independence, LA, pleaded no contest to 11 counts of simple burglary and two counts of attempted simple burglary. He was sentenced to eight years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Carl Booker Jr., age 42, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to third offense driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Jason Bourgeois, age 43, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Stephen Foster, age 41, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule IV controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Joshua Ourso, age 31, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of schedule III controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on August 20, 2019 before Judge Elizabeth Wolfe and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Bruce Carlson, age 30, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to distribution/possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances. Sentencing is scheduled for September 18, 2019.

Hezzie Carter, age 24, of Holden, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to six years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Mark Clark, age 25, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to theft. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $250.00 fine along with court costs.

John Dillon, age 44, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

James Evans, age 43, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years.

Wayne Long, age 32, of Loranger, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances- heroin and possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Montroll Robertson, age 24, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to attempted theft of a motor vehicle $5,000.00-$25,000.00, first offense driving while intoxicated, resisting an officer, possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances, and no driver’s license. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $1,500.00 fine along with court costs.

David Washington, age 44, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to criminal trespassing. He received credit for time served.
