Two arrested for robbing, assaulting man over "bad drugs"

From the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office:
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested two people this week after they forced their way into a Folsom area home shortly after midnight Monday morning (April 1) and robbed and pistol whipped a man. They told detectives the robbery was in retaliation after the man sold them bad drugs.

Alexis Walker, 19, of Madisonville, and Kristopher Wild, 22, of Covington forced their way into a home near Folsom and pistol whipped 27-year-old Sean Burns, robbing him of $15 cash and his cellphone. Burns reportedly had sold the two something that was supposedly methamphetamine just days prior. When they realized the drugs were fake, they hatched the scheme to rob Burns in retaliation.

A search warrant executed at Wild’s residence, uncovered the firearm believed to have been used in the crime.

Walker and Wild were arrested Monday and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail on the following charges:

L.R.S. 14:60A Aggravated Burglary with a Dangerous Weapon
L.R.S. 14:130.1 Obstruction of Justice

It was discovered during the investigation that Burns was wanted on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court on unrelated charges. He was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail, yesterday (April 3).

The case is still under investigation, and additional charges are possible.
