Due to the forecast track for Tropical Storm Cristobal, Tangipahoa Parish School Superintendent Melissa Stilley announced that all Tangipahoa Parish School System schools and district offices will be closed on Monday, June 8.
“The safety of our employees the families we serve is our top priority,” Stilley said, adding that 12 month employees should not report to their job sites due to the storm and the potential for heavy rain, high winds, and flash flooding.
Once the threat is lifted, principals and head 12 month custodians will check school campuses.
