From the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office

The STPSO Marine Division located and recovered a body believed to be that of William Segrave while searching Saturday (July 18) morning in Lake Pontchartrain.

Members of the Marine Division searched, with the assistance of Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, the U.S. Coast Guard and family members, until dark Friday (July 17) and resumed the search Saturday morning. The body was recovered at approximately noon Saturday near the I-10 Twin Spans. It was turned over to the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office, who will do a positive identification and provide a cause and manner of death.
