STPSO asking for public's help to ID vehicle, driver

From the St.Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office

St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of the vehicle pictured here.

Friday morning this vehicle crashed into two cars that were parked on Maple Street near Abita Springs Middle School.

The vehicle, which appears to be a Chevrolet Tahoe, was caught on video driving on Hwy 36 before turning down Maple Street and then taking a right on Hwy 59.

The right rear quarter panel of the vehicle has paint missing and it appears the right front tire is a spare. The vehicle also sustained damage to the right side of its hood and bumper.

Anyone who recognizes this vehicle or knows the identity of its owner is asked to please call the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985) 898-2338.
