Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the arrest of Hammond resident Tyanna Wells, (DOB 4.24.84).  Wells was arrested and charged on 2 counts of Residential burglary.

On December 15, 2014, at approximately 3:00 a.m., deputies were advised that a property owner on Stafford Rd. was holding one burglary suspect at gun point while a second suspect fled on foot.   Upon deputies’ arrival, Wells was taken into custody and the TPSO Burglary Unit took over the investigation.

While processing the scene, detectives located numerous pieces of property in the suspect’s vehicle.  These items were later identified as property linked to additional burglaries that were reported earlier that night.

Wells was subsequently charged with two counts of residential burglary.  The second suspect is identified as Lonnie Ray Pennington Jr. (DOB 2.24.93) of Hammond, LA.   Pennington is wanted on two counts of Residential burglary.
