WINFRED KENNETH VARNADO, AGE 77
And a resident of the Canaan Community died Saturday December 7, 2019 at his home. He was a longtime successful dairyman and worked at Dairyman, Inc. for many years. Winfred was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding around his property every day on his ATV. Winfred had a special place in his heart for his pet Maltese Noel. He adored his family and young great-grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Papa Bull”.

Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members
He was preceded in death by his parents Austin Varnado and Ella Simmons Varnado, father in law and mother in law Losa and Myrline Varnado and a grandchild Jamie Moseley Varnado.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday December 11th in the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stan Adams and Rev. Dale Varnado officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to the Canaan Baptist Church Youth Fund (18486 Sanders Road, Franklinton, LA 70438)
