Wolfe delivers sentencing on traffic cases in Greensburg

From District Attorney Scott Perrilloux:
GREENSBURG---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on December 7, 2018, before Judge Elizabeth Wolfe and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

David Carter, age 51, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to first offense driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to three months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation or one year. He is ordered to pay a $907.00 fine along with court costs.

Benjamin Pearson, age 42, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to careless operation of a vehicle. He was sentenced to two days in the parish jail. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Marlene Stewart, age 52, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to second offense driving while intoxicated. She received credit for time served.

Timothy Warren, age 20, of Independence, LA, pleaded no contest to underage driving while intoxicated, speeding, reckless operation of a vehicle, hit and run, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal trespassing. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail for each count. He was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.
