Road work begins in Kentwood / Wilmer area this week

AMITE—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced today that soil cement work with intermittent closures will begin this week on three roads in the Kentwood/Wilmer area.

Weather permitting, crews will begin pre-mix and soil cement work on the following roads next week:
*Muriel Dyson Road, Kentwood, starting Mon., March 5, and continuing Tues., March 6;
*Jones Road, starting Tues., March 6, and continuing Wed., March 7;
*Elzey Road, starting Wed., March 7, and continuing Thurs., March 8;
*Pine Crest Road, starting Thurs., March 8; and
*Bullock Road, starting Fri., March 9.

Miller said motorists can expect delays during this process.
