THIS TORNADO WAS ASSOCIATED WITH A LOW TOPPED SUPERCELL THAT MOVED
THROUGH EARLY IN THE AFTERNOON AHEAD OF THE EVENTUAL SQUALL LINE.
THE TORNADO INITIALLY TOUCHED DOWN JUST WEST OF HOOVER RD SNAPPING
A TREE AND MOVED TO THE NORTHEAST. BEFORE REACHING HOOVER RD
NUMEROUS LARGE TREE LIMBS WERE BROKEN...A BARN LOST NUMEROUS METAL
ROOF PANELS AND NUMEROUS UNDERCARRIAGE PANELS OF A MODULAR HOME
WERE RIPPED OFF. SHEET METAL PANELS WERE STREWN ACROSS THE AREA
FOR ABOUT 200 TO 300 YARDS. AFTER CROSSING HOOVER RD ANOTHER LARGE
TREE WAS SNAPPED AND ANOTHER WAS UPROOTED. TORNADO THEN CROSSED
HWY 190 AND CROSSED OVER EDNA KINCHEN RD. THIS LOCATION HAD THE
MOST SIGNIFICANT TREE DAMAGE WITH MULTIPLE SOFTWOODS AND HARDWOODS
SNAPPED AND UPROOTED. TORNADO THEN MOVED INTO A FIELD ALONG CRAIN
RD BEFORE CAUSING SOME VERY LIGHT TREE LIMB DAMAGE AND MINOR ROOF
DAMAGE TO A MOBILE HOME. TORNADO CONTINUED TO THE NORTHEAST
CROSSING OVER HUTCHINSON CEMETARY RD CAUSING MINOR ROOF DAMAGE TO
ANOTHER MODULAR HOUSE...SCATTERED LIMB DAMAGE...AND KNOCKED DOWN A
LARGE SECTION OF A WOOD FENCE.

THIS WAS A WEAK TORNADO EMBEDDED IN THE SQUALLINE. TORNADO CAME DOWN
ALONG MAYERS RD WHERE A LARGE TREE WAS UPROOTED WITH MINOR DAMAGE TO
THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF A MODULAR HOUSE AND SPORADIC LARGE TREE LIMB
DAMAGE. TORNADO CONTINUED INTO THE WOODS CROSSING OVER THE TANGIPAHOA
RIVER AND HWY 443. TORNADO MOVED EAST LEADING TO THE MOST SIGNIFICANT
DAMAGE ALONG AVERETT RD. MULTIPLE METAL SHEDS WERE DESTROYED. A
LARGE METAL CARPORT WAS RIPPED OFF PEELING SOME OF THE ROOF OF A
MODULAR HOUSE OFF WITH IT. PORTIONS OF THIS CARPORT WERE THROWN OVER
250 YARDS. POWER LINES WERE KNOCKED DOWN ALONG WITH ONE SNAPPED TREE
AND MULTIPLE LARGE LIMBS DOWN. A TRAMPOLINE WAS ALSO THROWN ABOUT
200-300 YARDS. TORNADO CONTINUED TO THE EAST CROSSING OVER BAILEY LOOP
RD LEADING TO ADDITIONAL TREE DAMAGE AND ONE UPROOTED SOFTWOOD TREE.
IN ADDITION MULTIPLE SMALLER METAL SHEDS WERE DESTROYED WITH THE METAL
BEING CARRIED ABOUT 100 TO 150 YARDS AWAY. TORNADO LIFTED RIGHT ALONG
HWY 445.
