Morrison issues sentences in 21st District Court in Amite

AMITE—District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on February 27, 2018 before Judge Robert Morrison and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Adrienne Alexander, age 39, of Natalbany, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. Sentencing is scheduled for March 21, 2018.

Desmond Bradley, age 27, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Brad Boudreau, age 30, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Kayla Folks, age 29, of Livingston, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled substances. She was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Darrell Green, age 35, of Loranger, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances, possession of marijuana, illegal possession of stolen things over $1,500.00, and possession of schedule IV controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Christian Harrell, age 19, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession with intent to distribute schedule I controlled dangerous substances and illegal possession of stolen firearms. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. Four years of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

William Lewis, age 46, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to failure to register as a sex offender. He received credit for time served.

Enna Logan, age 47, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to distribution of schedule IV controlled dangerous substances. She was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Alex Perez, age 30, of Chalmette, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Lawrence Taylor, age 29, of Kentwood, LA, pleaded no contest to simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Sentencing is scheduled for April 24, 2018.

Amanda Thompson, age 24, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of cruelty to juveniles. She was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Perry Walker, age 43, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

David Wascom, age 51, of Livingston, LA, pleaded no contest to simple battery. He received credit for time served.
