Greensburg man charged with drugs, guns, stolen property

From the St. Helena Parish Sheriff's Office:
ST. HELENA: On Tuesday, November 27, 2018, Jason Schwebel 39, of Greensburg, was taken into custody and is being held on multiple charges.

The arrest took place after a search warrant was executed at the residence. Assisting St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives with the search were Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Detective and Narcotics Division, and Wildlife and Fisheries.

During the search of the residence, property, and vehicle, 7.5 grams of crystal meth, ice, other drug paraphernalia, 18 firearms, and other stolen property including a boat were recovered from the residence according to the SHSO Detective Division.

Charges that Schwebel face are:
- Theft
- Possession of Stolen Property (x3)
- Flight from an officer
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of a firearm with CDS
- Possession of a schedule II narcotic

The investigation is on-going. More arrests are to be expected between St. Helena and other law enforcement agencies.
