Mandeville Police continue their search for a man they say stole Louisiana Lottery scratch-off ticket displays from gas stations in the area.

The thefts happened on Dec. 19 and Dec. 29, MPD reports.

The first incident happened at North Lake Fuel at the 3800 block of Hwy. 22, when police say a man entered the station and stole a lottery ticket display from the counter when the cashier wasn't looking.

The second incident happened at the Swifty's at the 1700 block of Hwy. 59, where police report the same man entered the gas station and distracted the cashier, then ran out of the store with another display of lottery tickets.

Police have released video images of the man trying to cash in some of the tickets. He is wearing sunglasses. Another man and a female left the premises with him, then drove off in a dark colored Honda Civic.

If you can help identify this man, call Crimestoppers at 822-1111 or Detective Jared Lunsford at 985-276-1330.
