Livingston Parish Government closure extended

From the Livingston Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness

“In light of Livingston Parish President Layton Ricks’ support of Governor Edwards’ “Stay at Home” proclamation, 33 JBE 2020 issued on Sunday, March 22, 2020, the Livingston Parish Government / Council offices closure has been extended.

Regular business hours should resume on Monday, April 13, 2020, unless a reassessment of the situation dictates additional closures.

During the suspension of normal business hours, the Livingston Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (LOHSEP) will continue to address any emergency situations and/or emergency callouts. LOHSEP can be reached at 225-686-3066.

Please continue to monitor the LDH website at  http://ldh.la.gov/Coronavirus/, the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/ and the Livingston Parish and LOHSEP Facebook pages for updates.

Parish President Ricks continues to encourage everyone to comply with the Stay at Home order and follow the CDC and LDH guidelines to minimize the spread of this virus and protect our community.”
