Friday is deadline for community to take TPSS Survey
AMITE—Improving public education is a top priority for Tangipahoa Parish School Superintendent Melissa Stilley, and one way the district is going about that is by asking the community for their feedback on our local schools.

From now until March 8, the district is looking for input from parents, students, teachers, and school leaders about their local schools.

“The TPSS Needs Assessment Survey is an online tool we use to identify strengths and weaknesses in our local schools,” Stilley said.

The survey, which can be found on the district website (www.TangiSchools.org), asks for feedback on a variety of issues from physical needs at a school to how well a school works with students to safety and environmental concerns on campus.

“The feedback we receive from these surveys is invaluable in helping us gauge the quality of services our students are receiving,” Stilley said. The superintendent said the feedback will be compiled and that she will personally review all results with individual schools and leadership teams.

“We are striving every day to make our Tangipahoa Parish Schools the very best they can be, but we need your feedback to know how we can do even better!” Stilley added, "I encourage you to follow the link and take this brief and anonymous survey. It will be a tremendous help to our team as we prepare for the fall semester.”
