Hammond Police want to identify theft suspects

Hammond, LA – On November 2, the Hammond Police Department began investigating a theft of a wallet and an illegal use of an access card. The victim said he had lost his wallet at the Quick Way Food Store, located at 14633 University Avenue, and later that day unknown charges were made to his Chase Bank account. The charges were made at Ross Dress for Less and Footaction. HPD was able to obtain a photo of the two suspects who used the card from surveillance video.

Anyone knowing the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Detective Bradley Fresina, with the Hammond Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division at 985-277-5755, by the Hammond Police Department’s Facebook Page, by email at [email protected] or by contacting Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa's anonymous tip line at 1-800-554-5245.
