The Hammond Police Department announced this week the arrest of Terenze Leblanc, age 38 (DOB 02/05/1976) and of last known address on Rulan Street in Hammond, on four counts of forgery, to include a Failure to Appear and No Seatbelt, first offense.

Hammond’s Officer Newell recorded Leblanc’s arrest on Dec. 19, where he was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail at approximately 1:16 a.m.

There, Leblanc was booked and charged with four counts of Forgery with a bond set at $40,000, in addition to a Failure to Appear at $500 and a No Seatbelt violation at another $500.

Hammond Officers had investigated Leblanc prior, with a recorded entry date at the Hammond Police Department as early as July of 2011, but provided no further details at the time of this report.

However, Leblanc also has a prior record in the state of Florida, Escambia County, in early 2013 for two counts of alleged larceny.

Action News 17 will bring your further updates from Hammond Police when they are made available.
