Franklinton police chief urges calm amid unrest

From the Franklinton Police Department

After watching what is going on around our nation with protests, many which have turned to destruction and violence, I encourage the following.

Lets get together and pray. Lets pray for our nation and pray that God will rid our country of those who have hate and malice in their hearts.

Our agency will be honored to stand alongside anyone willing to come together, call upon our Savior and rebuke the evil which plagues our world.

There is no place for hate in our society. Hate knows no race, religion or socioeconomic status.

WE MUST STAND TOGETHER or we will all fall divided.

Matthew 22:36-40
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Like unto it, Love thy neighbor!
