PONCHATOULA---Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the arrest of 27-year-old Ponchatoula resident Christopher Sykes on charges of terrorizing, domestic abuse/ battery, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Schedule II narcotics.

The incident began on August 11, 2019, when Sykes was accused of domestic battery and threatening bodily harm upon another subject. As deputies were investigating the incident, they attempted to make contact Sykes at his residence in Ponchatoula. Upon arrival, deputies approached the residence and knocked at the door. They were eventually met by a female's voice from the other side refusing to open the door, stating Sykes was not in the residence.

A short time later, armed with search warrants in hand, deputies revisited the residence and placed Sykes in custody without incident. While continuing the investigation and conducting an authorized search of the residence, deputies discovered multiple drug paraphernalia items containing suspected methamphetamine scattered throughout the residence. Several subjects were also located throughout the residence and identifies as 26-year-old Ponchatoula resident Daniel Harrison, 26-year-old Ponchatoula resident Ginger Holley, Robert Jones Jr., 36-years old of Springfield, and three juveniles.

Multiple arrests were made as a result of the investigation that took place that evening. Harrison was charged with possession of CDS II and possession of drug paraphernalia for being in possession a clear plastic bag containing and syringe and suspected Methamphetamine. Additionally, multiple syringes (used and unused) containing suspected methamphetamine were located throughout a bedroom being occupied by Holly and Jones Jr.. A silver spoon containing suspected Methamphetamine residue was also located on a dresser in the neighboring bedroom. Ginger Holly was charged with possession of CDS II, possession of drug paraphernalia, and one failure to appear warrant, while Robert Jones Jr. went to jail on charges of possession of CDS II and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The juveniles were placed in the custody of TPSO Sgt. Beth Russell and were released to the proper authorities.

This investigation is on-going with additional arrests pending.
