Stilley talks Strategic Plan with Greater Hammond Chamber
HAMMOND---Tangipahoa Parish School System Superintendent Melissa Stilley is looking for input from the community and the Greater Hammond Chamber will be among the first to hear her plans and offer their suggestions and advice during a special luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Historic Michabelle Inn in Hammond.

Stilley and her team are already looking to 2019 and beyond with the school district’s first ever Strategic Plan, which focuses on four major areas of improvement for the 2019 calendar year and steps to take moving into the next decade. The superintendent describes the Strategic Plan as a “fluid document,” which will both anticipate and respond to needs in our elementary and secondary school system.

“Improving public education in Tangipahoa Parish remains a priority for our Greater Hammond Chamber members and we are proud to partner with our school system,” said President and CEO Melissa Bordelon. “We encourage our members and prospective members to attend to learn more and to join us in supporting our educators and students.”

Registration for the 11:30 a.m. lunch is $25 and pre-registration is required. Register at
