Louisiana DOTD announced the following road closures/traffic changes starting the week of August 4:

Denham Springs
**The following intermittent lane closures will take place on LA 16, North of Denham Springs, from Fairlane Drive to LA 64.

On Wednesday, August 7, 2019 through Thursday, August 8, from 8:00 pm - 6:00 am, nightly (weather permitting). At least one lane will remain open at all times. These lane closure are necessary to allow crews to do work on the roadway.
On Friday, August 9, 2019 through Saturday, August 10, from 8:00 pm - 9:00 am, nightly (weather permitting). At least one lane will remain open at all times. These lane closure are necessary to allow crews to do work on the roadway.
Motorists wanting to avoid this construction zone should see the detours mentioned below:
Northbound motorists may take US 190 East to LA 1027 North to LA 1026 West to LA 16.
Southbound motorists may take LA 1026 East to LA 1027 South to US 190 West to LA 16.
**At the Intersection of LA 16/LA 1026/LA64 there will be alternating lane closures in all directions from 7:00 pm Friday, August 9, 2019 through 7:00 am Saturday, August 10, 2019 (weather permitting). At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times and minimal delays are expected. These lane closure are necessary to allow crews to change out the signals located at this intersection.

Motorists wanting to avoid this construction zone should see the detours mentioned below:

LA 16
Northbound motorists may use LA 16 to LA 1028 North to LA 64 West to LA 1019 North to LA 1024 East back to LA 16.
Southbound motorists may use LA 16 to LA 1024 West to LA 1019 South to LA 64 East to LA 1028 South back to LA 16.
Northbound motorists wanting to go East on LA 1026 may use LA 16 to US 190 East to LA 1027 North to LA 1026.
Southbound motorists wanting to go East on LA 1026 may use LA 16 to LA 1024 West to LA 1019 South to LA 64 East
to LA 1028 South to LA 16 South to US 190 East to LA 1027 North to LA 1026.
Northbound Motorists wanting to go West on LA 64 may use LA 16 to LA 1028 North to LA 64.
Southbound Motorists wanting to go West on LA 64 may use LA 16 to LA 1024 West to LA 1019 South to LA 64 East to LA 1028 South to LA 16.
LA 64

Motorists wanting to go North on LA 16 may use LA 64 to LA 1019 North to LA 1024 East to LA 16.
Motorists wanting to go South on LA 16 may use LA 64 to LA 1028 South to LA 16.
Motorists wanting to continue through the intersection to LA 1026 may use LA 64 to LA 1028 South to LA 16 South to US 190 East to LA 1027 North to LA 1026.
LA 1026

Motorists wanting to go North on LA 16 may use LA 1026 to LA 1027 South to US 190 West to LA 16 North to LA 1028 North to LA 64 West to LA 1019 North to LA 1024 East back to LA 16.
Motorists wanting to go South on LA 16 may use LA 1026 to LA 1027 South to US 190 West back to LA 16.
Motorists wanting to continue through the intersection to LA 64 may use LA 1026 to LA 1027 South to US 190 West to
LA 16 North to LA 1028 North to LA 64.


Satsuma
**I-12, Livingston Parish, Lane Closure
The following closures will take place on I-12 near the Satsuma Exit. Motorists wanting to avoid this construction zone should see the detours mentioned below.

• I-12 Eastbound – On/Off Ramps at Exit #19 (Satsuma Interchange) will be closed intermittently from Wednesday, August 7, 2019 through Friday, August 9, 2019, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, daily (weather permitting). These closures will allow crews to lay asphalt on the existing roadway to switch traffic on I-12 to the new travel lanes.

Detours for I-12 On/Off Ramp traffic at the Satsuma Exit:
Eastbound I-12 motorists may take South Satsuma Road North to US 190 East to LA 63 South to I-12.

Northbound and Southbound Satsuma Road motorists may take LA 447 North to US 190 East to South Satsuma Road.


Slidell
**ST. TAMMANY PARISH - I-10: MEDIAN PROTECTION-OAK HARBOR LIGHT/RAMP
Beginning Sunday, August 4, 2019, through Saturday, August 17, 2019, there will be alternating single lane closures in both directions of Oak Harbor Blvd. between the I-10 Eastbound and Westbound on/off ramps. These alternating ramp closures will take place between the hours of 5:00 AM until 10:00 PM during these dates. There will be day-time crews and night-time crews continuing asphalt paving operations. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.

In addition there will be nightly alternating FULL RAMP CLOSURES of these ramps from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM nightly.

Crews will be continuing asphalt paving operations at the Oak Harbor Blvd. interchange, weather permitting.

Emergency vehicles only will have access during the nightly full ramp closures.

DETOUR SECTION

Motorists traveling I-10 WB wishing to exit Oak Harbor Blvd may take I-10 WB to LA 433 (Old Spanish Trail) westbound. Transition from LA 433 WB to US 11 SB to Oak Harbor Blvd.

Motorist traveling I-10 EB wishing to exit Oak Harbor Blvd may take I-10 EB to LA 433 (Old Spanish Trail) and transition from the EB off-ramp to the I-10 WB on-ramp back to Oak Harbor Blvd.

**I-10: MEDIAN PROTECTION-OAK HARBOR LIGHT/RAMP
Beginning Monday, August 5, 2019, through Saturday, August 17, 2019, there will be nightly lane closures on I-10 Westbound between I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange and the I-10 twin spans. These closures will be from the hours of 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. This is for crews to begin milling and asphalt paving operations on I-10 Westbound in Slidell.

One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.

Ramp access will remain open at all times with the exception of the Oak Harbor Blvd. ramps. There will be alternating ramp closures at this interchange from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM nightly. This is for the crews to continue asphalt paving operations, weather permitting.

There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.

DETOUR SECTION

Motorists traveling I-10 WB wishing to exit Oak Harbor Blvd may take I-10 WB to LA 433 (Old Spanish Trail) westbound. Transition from LA 433 WB to US 11 SB to Oak Harbor Blvd.

Motorist traveling I-10 EB wishing to exit Oak Harbor Blvd may take I-10 EB to LA 433 (Old Spanish Trail) and transition from the EB off-ramp to the I-10 WB on-ramp back to Oak Harbor Blvd.


Washington Parish
**LA 25 – SOUTH OF JUNCTION OF LA 38 AT CLIFTON
There will be a complete road closure of LA 25 in Washington Parish, approximately 520 feet south of the junction of LA 25 and LA 38 at Clifton.

This closure will begin on Monday, August 5, 2019, at 8:00 AM through Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 5:00 PM. This closure is for DOTD to replace a cross drain, weather permitting.

This portion of LA 25 will be completely closed. Emergency vehicles and other vehicles will not have access and will need to take an alternate route.

Detour
Northbound motorists on LA 25 should take LA 430 north to LA 38 west.
Southbound motorists on LA 25 should take La 38 east to LA 430 south.
