Ricks, Wolfe issue sentences in Amite criminal court

From District Attorney Scott Perrilloux:
AMITE---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on May 13, 2019, before Judge Brenda Ricks and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Markel Alexander, age 28, of Baton Rouge, LA, pleaded no contest to illegal possession of stolen things, attempted possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and attempted possession with intent to distribute schedule I controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to seven and a half years with the department of corrections. Five and a half years of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $1,000.00 fine along with court costs.

Brian Wilson, age 53, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of aggravated assault. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

In other news from Amite criminal court, District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on May 8, 2019, before Judge Elizabeth Wolfe and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Antolin Almaguer, age 55, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule III controlled dangerous substances and four counts of theft under $1,000.00. He was sentenced one year with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Jonathan Boudreaux, age 36, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances and forgery. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections for each count. Time is to be served consecutively.

William Crowe Jr., age 19, Tickfaw, LA, pleaded no contest to nine counts of simple burglary, three counts of first offense theft of a firearm, possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances, possession of marijuana, simple assault, and aggravated assault with a firearm. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Efram Green, age 36, of Independence, LA, pleaded no contest to attempted controlled dangerous substance by misrepresentation/fraud/forgery/deception or subterfuge. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $100.00 fine along with court costs.

Juanita Haynes, age 32, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to unauthorized use of a moveable over $1,000.00. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served. He is ordered to pay restitution.

Dejuan Kelly Jr., age 39, of Independence, LA, pleaded no contest to third offense driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. He is to serve the sentence without benefit.

Emily Laine, age 24, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of heroin or fentanyl. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was deferred and she was placed on probation for two years. She received credit for time served.

Melissa Kilbride, age 45, of Albany, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated. She was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections for each count. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for one year. She is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Antoine Webb, age 23, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana and illegal use/possession/control of weapons- crime of violence- controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay all fines along with court costs.

Joseph Allen, age 43, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to third offense driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections.

Shawn Allen, age 50, of Loranger, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $600.00 fine along with court costs.

Joseph Coslan, age 23, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to second degree battery. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $1,800.00 fine along with court costs.

Tyrone Davis, age 25, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to cyberstalking and resisting an officer. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Jyston Dantzler, age 20, of Albany, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule IV controlled dangerous substances, attempted illegal carrying of weapons, and illegal carrying of a firearm. He was sentenced to eight years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $1,800.00 fine along with court costs.

Bradley Monteleone, age 28, of Roseland, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to four years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years.

Jeremy Ocmond, age 24, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to obscenity. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $1,000.00 fine along with court costs.

James Rohner, age 32, of Kentwood, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense domestic abuse battery, aggravated battery, and false imprisonment. He was sentenced to 10 years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $1,800.00 fine along with court costs.

Gregory Schaffer, age 40, of Natalbany, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of heroin. He was sentenced to four years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $1,800.00 fine along with court costs.

Edward Sibley, age 39, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances and attempted possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $1,800.00 fine along with court costs.

Tyrese Spears, age 19, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances, possession of marijuana, flight from an officer, and possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to four years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Aldolphus Wilson, age 33, of New Orleans, LA, pleaded no contest to theft. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.
