Remains found in Albany missing Hammond woman
From the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office
Sheriff Jason Ard confirms medical experts have positively identified the remains of Deranisha Williams from Hammond. She was listed as a missing person reported to TPSO that had not been seen since September 05, 2020.
On October 2, detectives with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were notified by Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office deputies about a possible crime.
Sheriff Ard said, ‘They told us they received a call from a distressed male. During this call, the male confesses to a crime. He claims to have murdered an acquaintance. He then details a possible crime scene - his home. His home ends up being located in Livingston Parish (30,000 stretch of Skinner Lane in Albany). We - along with TPSO - responded to Skinner Lane today. The male was deceased of what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.’
TPSO confirms this male - identified as Randolph Skinner, Sr. - was a wanted person for obstruction of justice in the disappearance of an adult female from Hammond. She has not been seen since early September.
Sheriff Ard said, ‘Human remains were discovered on the property. Our investigation is ongoing.’
