Hammond Police seek to identify two business burglars

On May 16, 2019 at approximately 1:15 am, the Hammond Police Department began investigating a business burglary at S & M Audio, located at 2250 West Thomas Street.

Surveillance footage showed two black males, who were in the store the day before and wearing the same clothes, break the front glass door with a cinder block. The suspects entered the business and began placing numerous Pioneer touch screen radios in garbage bags. Once the two bags were full, one of the suspects is seen grabbing approximately ten more Pioneer radios and running out of the business. One of the suspects has been identified as Malcolm S. Jones, 27 years old of Hammond, while the other suspect has not yet been identified.
