Four Mississippi women arrested for theft from retail shops
From Mandeville Police:
Mandeville Police arrested four Mississippi women who have been charged with felony theft and possession of stolen things.

On the evening of September 11,2018, Mandeville police responded to a report of a theft by shoplifting at 3450 Highway 190. During the course of the investigation Officers were able to obtain a description of the vehicle and suspects.

While canvasing the area, officers were able locate the vehicle along with the four suspects who were subsequently arrested without incident. Officers prepared a search warrant for the interior of the suspect’s vehicle where, stolen clothing items were recovered, representing merchandise from various stores.

The value of all items stolen was approximately $5,000.

Officer’s also confiscated a security tag remover device, which gives the suspects the ability to remove security tags in effort to breach security scanner.

Officers were also able to retrieve video surveillance showing subjects inside of the business, concealing items inside of large purses before exiting the business without paying.

Arrested were:
Atoya Cambell, 42, of Brooksville, Mississippi;
Erica Riley, 46, of Tupelo, Mississippi;
Kreshanda Pruitt, 30, of Gulfport, Mississippi;
Leisha Pruitt, 46, of Gulfport, Mississippi.

All suspects were charged with felony theft and possession of stolen things before being Remanded to St. Tammany Parish Jail.
