Drug investigation leads to 10 arrests in Livingston

Press Release from the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office:

On August 5, 2019, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, along with the assistance of the LPSO Criminal Patrol Division, executed a search warrant at Sweet Bay St. in Denham Springs.

Sheriff Jason Ard says, ‘The search warrant was the result of a recent narcotics investigation into Randy Wright for possessing and distributing illegal narcotics from his residence.’

During a search of the residence, detectives located and seized:
>Heroin
>Methamphetamine
>Marijuana
>Oxycodone
>Morphine
>Suboxone
>Drug paraphernalia (including scales and packaging materials)

Sheriff says, ‘Sixteen individuals were present at the residence upon executing the search warrant. Nine were found to be in possession of illegal narcotics. One had a fugitive warrant through the Louisiana Office of Probation and Parole. This is the result of solid team work between divisions at the LPSO & cooperation with our citizens.’

The following individuals were booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on a variety of charges:
