Amite- District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on October 28, 2019 before Judge Brenda Ricks and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Londre Kinsey, age 41, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Gloria McGauy, age 68, of Folsom, LA, pleaded no contest to criminal mischief. She was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for one year. She is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Alex Rogers, age 39, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $1,200.00 fine along with court costs.

Willie Watson, age 59, of Kentwood, LA, pleaded no contest to possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was sentenced to seven years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $1,200.00 fine along with court costs.

Ashley Castle, age 29, of Loranger, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of simple burglary. She was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections for each count. She is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Curtis Claibon Jr., age 38, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule IV controlled dangerous substances and possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Joseph Gabriel, age 21, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to four months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $300.00 fine along with court costs.

Alvin Hunter, age 24, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to four months in the parish jail. The sentence was deferred and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $300.00 fine along with court costs.

Morgan Kinchen, age 35, of Albany, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances, possession of heroin, and driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Arthur McGee, age 45, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to battery of a dating partner. He was sentenced to 105 days in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

James Oden, age 24, of Roseland, LA, pleaded no contest to second offense battery of a dating partner and violation of protective order. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail for each count. Time is to be served concurrently. He received credit for time served.

Willie Richardson, age 43, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 15 days in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Gilbert Starkey, age 34, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

James Thompson, age 40, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Chelsie Varnado, age 29, of Independence, LA, pleaded no contest to distribution/possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances, possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances, and possession of schedule IV controlled dangerous substances. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections for each count. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Juan Wilson, age 21, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to simple burglary. He was sentenced to four years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Brent Blount, age 32, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts distribution/possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances and possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Christopher Brown, age 40, of Brookhaven, MS, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Jessica Conerly, age 31, of Springfield, LA, pleaded no contest to first offense driving while intoxicated, obstruction of a highway, and driving under suspension. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Nikki Dickens, age 38, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of simple burglary and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. She was sentenced to eight years with the department of corrections. She received credit for time served.

David Emmons, age 50, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 10 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended. She is ordered to pay a $395.00 fine.

Anthony Estrada, age 33, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Jonathan Garza, age 26, of Edinburg, TX, pleaded no contest to resisting an officer. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Sanchez Harold, age 31, of Roseland, LA, pleaded no contest to resisting an officer with force or violence and disarming a peace officer. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Marvin Hart, age 39, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Gregory Hebert, age 55, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances, possession of heroin, possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

William Hedington, age 46, of Holden, LA, pleaded no contest to criminal trespassing. He received credit for time served.

Randy Holmes Jr., age 19, of Greensburg, LA, pleaded no contest to first degree battery. He was sentenced to eight years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Waykesha Hooker, age 29, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of stolen property. She was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for one year. She is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Chase Hoyt, age 36, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to simple criminal damage to property $1,000.00-$50,000.00 and resisting an officer. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Thomas Ricker Jr., age 52, of Robert, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances and possession of schedule IV controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections for each count. Time is to be served concurrently. He received credit for time served.

Peyton Robbins, age 22, of Bogalusa, LA, pleaded no contest to theft in excess of $1,000.00 but less than $5,000.00. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.
