Covington Police investigating armed robbery at Shell Station

The Covington Police Department is currently investigating an Armed Robbery which took place on Thursday at approximately 9:30 pm at The Shell Station, located at 1001 S. Tyler Street, Covington.

Two male subjects wearing mask approached a Shell Station employee at gun point, forcing her inside of the store and demanded cash from the register. Witness accounts describe the two subjects as black males, approximately 5’9” and 6’1” in height.

The shorter male subject is described as having a medium build and the taller male subject, having a thin build. Once the subjects gained access to the cash in the register, both fled the store on foot.

We are asking the public to help the Covington Police Department identify these two subjects.
