Couple arrested for Livingston Parish crime spree

From the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office

UPDATE on Armed Robbery Investigation

Two suspects are currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center:

Tremayne Markis Gustave
Makaylyn Jones

Sheriff Jason Ard says, ‘’Detectives located evidence left behind at one of the crime scenes. That evidence was then brought to the LSP Crime Lab to be analyzed. Test results linked evidence to the male suspect. Detectives would soon learn the male & female suspects were a couple who worked together during the crime spree.’’

In addition to charges from LPSO, both suspects will also face charges from Walker Police.

Special thanks to the State Police Crime Lab for their partnership with law enforcement agencies.

On September 17, Makaylyn Jones drove the male to two different gas stations in Livingston Parish and stole cigarettes - several hundred dollars worth.

Tremayne Markis Gustave- matching the same description & wearing the exact same clothing - also robbed two different women in an apartment complex shortly after the store thefts.
