Hammond, LA (November 19, 2019)---The Louisiana Renaissance Festival experienced record-breaking attendance during its popular Celtic weekend held Sat., Nov. 16 and Sun., Nov 17.
More than 13,000 guests from around the country enjoyed a bagpipe and drum competition as well as Scottish heavy athletics like the caber toss, to celebrate Scottish and Celtic culture.

Some of the most sought-after events are the joust and birds of prey. You'll find a variety of food from turkey legs to chocolate-covered cheesecake on a stick--treats that are sure to please everyone in your group!
“With more than 65 shows and 100 merchants, you simply cannot see it all in one day so be sure to wear comfortable shoes,” said Alvon Brumfield, CEO.
