As former Tropical Storm Cindy moves well away from the area, we will return to a more summerlike pattern across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi. This means scattered showers and thunderstorms developing during late morning and afternoon hours, dissipating toward sunset. Locally heavy rain is still possible with these storms.
