HAMMOND---When Tangi Academy students return to campus August 10, 2017, they will surely be in for a surprise!

The campus is currently undergoing several renovation projects simultaneously in anticipation for more than one hundred new students for the 2017-18 school year.

The school’s leadership team, which includes the Chief Executive Officer George Williams, Chief Academic Officer Pamela Prescott, Chief Financial Officer (Ms. Nicole Williams), Director of Operations & Communications (Ms. Jackie Wilson) and Director of Special Education (Mrs. Laura Tallo) have been enthusiastically working throughout this summer to ensure that everything is in order before team members and students arrive.

The Leadership Team is also working in tandem with the TCSA Board of Directors to continue preparing long-range plans and projections to support the growth of the school.

Parents and guardians will have an opportunity to see all of the great improvements and to meet their child(ren)’s teachers on the eve of the first day of school, August 9th from 1-6 p.m.

Additionally, because of the increased interest in the school, the very first 7th grade class is already full and another has been added to meet the demands of the community’s desire to place their children at Tangi
Academy.

There are a few available spots in other grades. Interested families should contact the school if they are considering enrollment for the upcoming school year and registration can also be completed
online by visiting the following web address: https://services.edgear.net/register. With such a gain, Tangi Academy also has a few teaching and support staff vacancies. Letters of interest and resumes may be sent
to Careers@tangiacademy.org.

The campus will remain open throughout the summer during the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday.
