Albany, La. – Sherman Mack, the founder of the Mack Law Firm, announced the addition of two experienced attorneys to his law team. Hammond attorney Patrick Dunn and Livingston attorney Glenn Westmoreland will now practice at the Mack Law Firm. Westmoreland and Dunn joins founder Sherman Mack, Matthew Todd and Kimberly Resetar at the firm.
“Pat and Glenn bring a great wealth of knowledge and legal experience to our team,” said Mack. “They are going to be indispensable in helping our clients.”
Dunn, a former Assistant District Attorney, served under District Attorney Scott Perrilloux and the late Duncan Kemp for twenty-six years in the 21st Judicial District. He recently resigned his position to go into private practice at the Mack Law Firm. Dunn is a graduate of Hammond High School and Louisiana State University. He graduated from the LSU School of Law in 1987.
“Working as an Assistant District Attorney, I was able to help many families in the community,” said Dunn. “I am looking forward to expanding my practice to serve families with their family, personal injury and criminal defense cases.”
Patrick Dunn is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and 21st Judicial District Bar Association. He has been active in the community serving with many non-profit and civic organizations.
Westmoreland is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, and received his law degree from the Louisiana State University School of Law in 1985. Since earning his law degree, Westmoreland has made families the priority in his private practice.
“I’ve practiced family law in Livingston, Tangipahoa and St. Helena Parishes for over 30 years. These cases are particularly emotional and it’s extremely gratifying and fulfilling to know that I helped a family through a rough situation,” Westmoreland said.
Westmoreland is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, the 21st Judicial District Bar Association and Keep Livingston Beautiful.
