From the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office
A suspect tied to multiple burglaries is behind bars. In early December, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office asked for assistance in identifying a person captured on surveillance video burglarizing vehicles in the Quail Creek subdivision.
Sheriff Jason Ard says, ‘Members of the LPSO Armed Robbery and Burglary Division began investigating the burglaries which occurred in late October. Our investigation led us to a suspect incarcerated at the time in Ascension Parish for similar crimes. A joint investigation began. One suspect was identified and linked to crimes in several neighborhoods in Livingston Parish.’
Arrested:
Blayson Fife of 18076 Little Prairie Road in Prairieville
DOB: 5/25/99
*Currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center.

Sheriff says, ‘Numerous stolen items have been recovered in this case. I’d also like to say that the only vehicles targeted by this suspect were unlocked vehicles. Take all necessary precautions to safeguard your belongings from suspects. Lock your vehicles even when you’re at home.’
This investigation continues.
Sheriff Ard says, ‘This would not have been possible without the hard work of my team and the cooperation of our citizens. Thank you to all those who choose to work with us in keeping Livingston Parish the place we love to live, work and raise a family.’
