Young Americans host workshop for grades 3-12 at PHS
PONCHATOULA---Ponchatoula High School will play host to The Young Americans on Feb. 4-6, and students in grades 3-12 are invited to register for this jam-packed arts workshop.

Founded in 1962, The Young Americans is a charitable organization dedicated to the promotion of understanding and goodwill among people throughout the world through music, dance, performance, academic education, and cultural integration among student members and their audiences.

The Ponchatoula event includes a three-day signature workshop with the troupe, who will work with students on vocals, dance and theatre before presenting a full-stage performance on the final day of the workshop.

Registration is $59 per student and is open to any student in grades 3-12 across our area. Students will receive a tour t-shirt which will serve as their “costume” for the perfomance as well as 13 hours of performance, dance, and vocal workshops.
