Krewe of Omega Ball set for Sat., Feb. 8 in Hammond

HAMMOND---Krewe of Omega will hold its annual Mardi Gras Ball on Sat., Feb. 8, to honor King and Queen Omega XXVIII Wayne Edward Tucker and Mae Rose “Gypsy” Prinz”.

The formal black tie event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at the Hammond Police Union Hall on Natchez Street in Hammond.

The theme for this year’s Mardi Gras ball is “A Fete De La Marriage.” 

The entertainment  provided at the ball is not in the traditional Tableau format.

This year Board members and Krewe members will present a skit depicting a Mock Wedding. There will be great entertainment, food, and music by the Bottoms Up band for dancing. 

The Krewe of Omega is a social group of hard working community oriented members who enjoy having a great time while bringing this event to the community.

Tickets for the formal black tie event are available at $50.00 per person.
