Suspect sought in attempted armed robbery of gas station

February 26, 2018, City of Hammond, LA – The Hammond Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to an attempted Armed Robbery. The incident occurred on February 25, 2018 at approximately 10:24 pm, at the Chevron located at 1345 Highway 190 East.

The suspect is a black male wearing black pants and a black hoodie. The suspect entered the business, went behind the counter and demanded money from the cashier. The male was last seen leaving the gas station, heading northbound on Morris Road on foot.
