Good news for Lallie Kemp and Amite office

State Representative John Bel Edwards says that the Department of Health and Hospitals has assured him that Lallie Kemp Hospital in Independence won't sustain any significant budget cuts in the coming year. The District 72 lawmaker also says that the Drivers' License Office in Amite will remain open permanently despite earlier threats to close it.
