On September 09, 2010, detectives with the Lafayette office of the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigation arrested 34-year-old Brad Marschak of Denham Springs, LA for one count of online solicitation of a juvenile and one count of pornography involving juveniles. The arrest was the result of an undercover operation during which Marschak engaged in inappropriate and sexually explicit online communications with a trooper who assumed the persona of an underage female.

Marschak was arrested at his place of business in Livingston Parish and was transported to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center where he was booked on the aforementioned charges. Troopers will continue to conduct these types of operations in an effort to keep our children safe from online predators.
