DENHAM SPRINGS---At approximately 1 a.m., on September 8, 2010, an 8-year-old child was awakened by an uninvited pick up truck in her bedroom. The child suffered minor injuries and the driver of the truck was booked on numerous violations.
Responding Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Uniform Patrol Deputies determined that the truck’s driver was both speeding and legally intoxicated when he crashed his 2000 Ford F150 into a residence located at 8773 Shadow Bluff Drive, Denham Springs, La. The driver told Deputies that the crash had been preceded by an argument with his girlfriend.
Jake L. Graham, a 21 year old white male who listed his address as 25380 Homestead Drive, Denham Springs, La. was charged as follows:
>1 Count Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offence
>1 Count Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
>1 Count Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property
>1 Count Vehicular Negligent Injuring
He is currently in the LivingstonParishDetentionCenter in lieu of a $61,000.00 bond.
