Dorothy Lynell Rushing, age 88, a residence of Bogalusa,LA, a member of Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the LSU Medical Center in Bogalusa, LA.
She is survived by her husband, James M. "Jimmy" Rushing;
1 Son, Gary (Joan) Rushing;
1 Sister, Geraldine Bertrand;
Grandchildren,Todd Schubert, Julie (Joe) Grenuk, Terri Nicholas, Kristy Dubois and Tadd (Leslie) Rushing;
Great-Grandchildren, Mason Nicholas, McKenna Rushing, Caleb Dubois and Noah Dubois.
She is preceded in death by 2 daughters, Sandra Schiefley and Sharon Kay Rushing Magee; Her Parents, J. B. and Ella Mae Lewis; 1 Sister, Beverly Adams and 3 Brothers, Lamar, Avery and J. B. Lewis, Jr.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home at 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 2, 2010.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marcus Rosa officiating. Interment to follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 3, 2010.
