GLADYS PHIPPS VENTRESS, AGE 86

And a resident of Franklinton died at 10:30 AM Thursday, September 02, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center.

She was a longtime employee of Bass Fabric Shop and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survived by: Daughter and son in law: Tana and Benny B. Burris of Franklinton

Grandchildren and spouses: Amy and Barry Seal

Benny B., Jr. and Sonya Burris all of Franklinton

4 Great grandchildren: McKinley Seal, Kaylon Seal, Kylee Burris, Benton Burris

Special Friend: Nelda Stevens

She was preceded in death by her husband R. Glennon Ventress.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Nursing Home and the doctors and staff of Riverside Medical Center for their kindness and support.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral after 1 PM Sunday, September 4, 2010 until time of funeral service to be held at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Watts and Ben Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Morris Cemetery.
