Glen Charles Ducote passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010.

Beloved husband of 11 years to Pamela Wright Ducote; loving brother to Debby Lynn Ducote and Richard Ducote, Jr.; son of Richard Ducote, Sr.; half brother to Lance Ducote and Joni Likens; and nephew of Alita B. Faucheaux, who raised Glen after the passing of his mother. He is also survived by numerous aunt, uncles, cousins, friends and spiritual family from Father’s House Church in Ponchatoula, LA. He was preceded in death by his mother, June Bradley Knight; and his step-father, James Larue Knight.

Age 54 years, he was a native of Belize City, British Honduras, he was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA and former resident of Slidell, LA. He was the manager of Slidell Glass, Inc.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

Visitation on Wednesday will begin at 10:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA.

The family would prefer donations to Father’s House Family Church, Mexico Mission Fund, P.O. Box 35, Ponchatoula, LA 70454.

Sicilian Grand Marshal

SDT Waste President Sidney Torres IV has been named Grand Marshal of the Sicilian Festival which runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Independence. Torres is pictured above with Mayor Mike Ragusa and Chairman Reggie Martin holding a case of Castello beer that was presented to him at Town Hall.
