LIVINGSTON---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on August 23, 2010, before Judge Robert Morrison, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of driving while intoxicated and received the following sentences:

Jonathan P. McNabb, Denham Springs, LA, age 45 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (3rd offense) and was sentenced to serve three (3) years in the Department of Corrections.

The following individuals appeared in court and either pleaded guilty or n contest or were found guilty of narcotic related offenses and received the following sentences:

Cesar Alfaro, Baton Rouge, LA, age 26 - Pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule II narcotics and was sentenced to serve two (2) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections with credit given for time served. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on active probation for two years.

Donald E. Arnold, Denham Springs, LA, age 43 - Pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule II narcotics and illegal possession of stolen things and was sentenced to serve two (2) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections on each offense with sentences to be served concurrently. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on active probation for three years and ordered to pay a fine of $750.00 plus court costs and make restitution.

Richard Glenn Babin, Gonzales, LA, age 48 - Pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule II narcotics and was sentenced to serve two (2) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on active probation for two years and ordered to pay a fine of $750.00 plus court costs.

Brandi R. Blount, Albany, LA, age 34 - Pleaded no contest to possession with intent to distribute Schedule IV narcotics (2 counts) and was sentenced to serve five (5) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections on each count with sentences to be served concurrently. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on active probation for three years and ordered to enroll in and complete drug court program.

Hope Marie Branum, Walker, LA, age 27 - Pleaded no contest to creation/operation of a clandestine lab and was sentenced to serve five (5) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on active probation for three years and ordered to enroll in and complete drug court program.

Jamie P. Chavez, Baton Rouge, LA, age 24 - Pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule II narcotics and was sentenced to serve two (2) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections with credit given for time served. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on active probation for two years.

Blake Fray, Walker, LA, age 24 - Pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule IV narcotics and was sentenced to serve one (1) year at hard labor in the Department of Corrections.

Latisha E. Hanna, Walker, LA, age 26 - Pleaded no contest to creation/operation of a clandestine lab and was sentenced to serve five (5) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on active probation for three years and ordered to enroll in and complete drug court program.

Nathaniel Kinchen, Sr., Denham Springs, LA, age 47 - Pleaded no contest to possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics and convicted felon in possession of a firearm and was sentenced to serve ten (10) years in the Department of Corrections with two years to be served without benefits.

Emily Ornebane, Denham Springs, LA, age 18 - Pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule I narcotics and was sentenced to serve two (2) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on active probation for two years and ordered to pay a fine of $500.00 plus court costs.

Edward Queen, Denham Springs, LA, age 26 - Pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule II narcotics and was sentenced to serve two (2) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on active probation for two years and ordered complete sixty (60) days of community service work.

Tommy L. Wainwright, Walker, LA, age 21 - Pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years and ordered to pay a fine of $500.00 plus court costs.

The following individuals appeared in court and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of crimes against persons/property and received the following sentences:

Johnny Eugene Diggs, Denham Springs, LA, age 53 - Convicted of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling was present in court for sentencing and was sentenced to serve three (3) years in the Department of Corrections with one year of sentence to be served without benefits.

Joshua R. Hebert, Denham Springs, LA, age 20 - Pleaded no contest to theft under $300.00 and simple battery and was sentenced to serve ninety (90) days in parish jail.

Joseph A. Kent, Walker, LA, age 21 - Pleaded no contest to simple burglary and was sentenced to serve five (5) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on active probation for three years and ordered to pay a fine of $750.00 plus court costs and make restitution.

Gabriel E. Kleinpeter, Holden, LA, age 22 - Pleaded no contest to simple battery and was sentenced to serve thirty (30) days in parish jail.

Joshua M. Moore, Denham Springs, LA, age 23 - Pleaded no contest to simple burglary and was sentenced to serve five (5) years at hard labor in the Department of Corrections. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on active probation for five years and ordered to enroll in and complete drug court program and make restitution.
