AMITE---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on August 5, 2010, before Judge Brenda Bedsole Ricks, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of driving while intoxicated and received the following sentences:
John Coleman, Wrightsville, LA, age 56 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victim’s impact panel, and pay a fine of $615.00 plus court costs.
Heidi Davis, Ponchatoula, LA, age 31 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail.
